Since my ear troubles got really bad I've been experiencing a lot of shaking every now and then as well as noises making my right ear shake, but I had never been able to track down a cause. Today, however, I sat down to watch some TV and had those shakes, so I muted the TV and they instantly stopped. Unmuted, they're back! It's sound.
I have read up a little on hyperacusis, and the NHS website lists it as simply " sounds seem louder than they really are" which... doesn't really describe what I'm feeling most of the time. Sound will seem fine, I just... shake. Should also point out that sounds also seem to set off ringing in my right ear, the other morning someone outside slammed their car door and EEEE.
Do any of you have experience with hyperacusis? If so, does this line up with it? I would call a doctor but I'm sick of dealing with them just telling me to wait for the ENT appointment I've waited months for instead of making any effort to help me.
