I suffer from severe tinnitus 24/7 no respite. Has anybody tried this system and if so what did you think of it?

Personally I would never spend any money on something that has not been approved Or at least tested by, for example, the Tinnitus Association.

Why not?

Because there’s a lot of snake oil salesmen around. But I said what I, personally, wouldn’t do ... you must follow your own wishes of course.

Yes a lot of “supposed cures” out there just trying to find out what might work and what doesn’t. I am struggling with T it seems to have got worse and trying to ignore it really!!!! Tried hypnosis waste of time, I think I will give CBT a go, thanks for your reply.

I personally went through the tinnitus clinic and got my hearing aids with them. I know some of their clinics do the Levo so I wouldn’t rule it out. My audiologist was extremely knowledgable and helpful with them. Best of luck.

Wow a Tinnitus clinic! Not heard of those! I’m due to see an audiologist in November ( so probably next year) and will find out more about this then.

Hi catman

Agree with others that spending loads here and there is not the answer

What REALLY helped me, after having T for 40+ years was redefining it, about 4 months ago

I am now NO longer bothered by it and haven't taken benzos to sleep for over 4 months now

If interested, see my Post 'How I got rid of my T, just by redefining it'

Thanks

Thanks Alpsholiday will have a look and see what you have achieved. What level of tinnitus did you have?

in reply tocatman68

Hi catman

T from my early 30's to age 66 didn't affect me much at all

Of course, wished it wasn't there, but could easily handle the 'background' sound

However, after taking some supplements 4 years ago, it ramped up to a level that made sleep impossible without Benzos

Then, luckily, 4 months ago, reassessing the T, I realised that the sound was IMAGINARY and a DELUSION - NOT real - so nothing to worry about!

And that seemed to send the T back to a place where I didn't 'hear' it at all

Good luck
