I use a radio all night s the sound distracts my brain from the tinnitus. I find the human voice not music works best for me. Good luk

Yes I also use radio BBC world service...as you say spoken word is more distracting and easier to fall to sleep to rather than music. Although have it on timer to turn off after 1hr.

Hi

I tried mirtazapine 7.5mg at night for sleep, anxiety and depression on day 7 my ears were screaming and after that I have a new sound if high pitched organ type music sound in both ears. So I stopped after 9 days . Tinnitus slowly improved some days but the weird organ sound us still there . How are you on it and what dose do you take ?

Regards

Jen

I hear a constant loud generator sound - take 15mg - helps with stress of not sleeping. Intend to taper down to 7.5mg in the summer and see how I get on. I was on zoplicone for 6 months prior to this (low dose) - balance issues improved with switch - tinnitus about same.
