ive had tinitus for 5 months is it normal for t how do people cope is the mri scan helpful or not.

You have to have an MRI just to check whether there is an underlying cause for the tinnitus - which could be treatable. It is a noisy procedure but quite bearable - and how else can a thorough examination take place? Good luck.
I have catastrophic tinnitus with hyperacusis and was unable to withstand the 120 db that machine puts out. Went with a CT scan with dye. Very quiet and quick.
Hi. I am a new sufferer and my Gp wants to reffer me for an mri. Ive had one before for my leg and it is really loud. Do ct scans show just as much ?
thank you
