Hi all,

So I've figured out my diarrhoea is linked to fatty food, if i eat more than 10g in a sitting I know it's going to be bad... the thing I'm wondering is - how long after ingesting too much fat do the symptoms appear? I ate fat Tuesday lunch time but symptoms didnt appear until Wednesday lunchtime...

Thanks!

Hi, it depends how fast your transit is(In your gut/intestines). In your case it would appear to be approximately 24 hours from entry to exit (based on the information given)so, allowing for an upset tummy (diarrhoea or constipation) it would be between breakfast and dinner on the day following ingestion (eating the wrong stuff).
