This is a really good question that I don't personally have an opinion for but I'd love to hear other peoples' thoughts in this community.

Generally, yes! From our experience, I would have to say it was complicated. At a time when there were so many important things happening in regards to our daughter's rehab, the Special education meetings, and forms to fill in, plus the sheer energy used in fighting hard to prove our daughter needed the support was almost overwhelming. Every conversation had to be reasoned and justified, It was not too hard to see that it was all about budgets. TCT were really supportive but there was no way to skip over the 'red-tape' mountain in order to secure adequate support. l am glad we did it, I just wish it wasn't so grueling for families!

Hi Kiwirose - thank you for taking the time to share your experiences.

There are some very intelligent observations of the process here - what do other parents think?

Schools do not obey the rules sometimes.

Sometimes teachers tell lies and treat pupils and parents very badly.

The way that we were treated led to the break up of our family. They didn't even say sorry.
