Need some encouragement

Just need some support from people who know what my spouse and I are going through. Spouse has active tb and is month 2 of treatment with no good news yet. This feels hopeless sometimes. We take 1 step forward and 3 steps back.

Thanks for reaching out - that is an important first step in getting the help you need. I am a moderator on this forum so can't give you support from my own knowledge but I have spoken to many TB survivors and their family and know the impact it has on all involved. Your spouse is lucky to have you on board and I am sure you are being a great help even if it does not feel that you can do too much. Even practical support with things around the house and eating a nutritious diet can make so much difference - but make sure to get the rest you need too.

I am sure some of our lovely forum memebers will be in touch soon too - you are most definitely not alone.
