tight chest /heatburn
The tight feeling does improve slightly after
ventolin
but I've only had max 4 puffs as I don't want to get back into using it too much. Just wondered what people thought? What do you think the best course of action should be?

Newbie struggling
I was first diadiagnosed 3 years ago after a particularly bad year and given beclometasone and
ventolin
. I don't think they worked but as it was mild, I left it and really doubted I had Asthma.

Is it just me? Asthma and anxiety
Now sat at home with the
ventolin
playing peak flow roller coaster hoping the pred I had in hospital does the job of the week course I usually have. So (after my rant), my question is how do convince people it is not anxiety without sounding anxious?

Question about exercise
I use an exercise bike and a treadmill, and after 10 minutes on either, I feel like death, gasping for breath and reaching for the
Ventolin
inhaler. I have to brace myself for the ordeal of walking upstairs, and going to the supermarket is a nightmare which I often avoid.

Copd treatments
Also I have Tiotropium bromide (Spiriva) which I take once a day, a
Ventolin
inhaler which I take every time I move from my chair. I can only walk about 10 yards before I need to sit down or lean on something to get my breath back.

Crackling and squeaking noises when breathing out, while laid down
Days later I ended up going to an emergency doctor and was told that my chest was rattling from top to bottom and was given steroids,
ventolin
inhaler and some antibiotics which appeared to do the trick but as soon as the steroids finished I was just as bad and saw another doctor who said that I should

What to do about hayfever
My asthma has (thankfully) remained in control (I'm currently taking symbicort 200/6 2 puffs twice daily,
ventolin
before exercise and as needed and montelukast 10mg daily) My question is if I wanted to try antihistamines for what appears to be hayfever, is it normal to just buy them over the counter

What just happened?!
It took 4 puffs of
ventolin
before I felt like I was getting any air in and a couple more puffs before I could have some control over my breathing and force myself to calm down. I still can't take breaths as deep as I want to but I feel ok, just shaky from the
ventolin
.

Hi all, I have COPD which I believe in early stages though of late getting worse as I have had one virus after another
By the way I am 76 so no chicken and only using
ventolin
inhaler as others I have tried have such awful side effects and I believe the last one Spiriva triggered my sinusitis.

Really need advice - what is wrong with me?
I have gone from needing
Ventolin
once in a blue moon to
Ventolin
constantly, Fostair, Avamys for my nose because that keeps closing off and as of tonight will be going onto Singulair tablets. I had a 5 day course of Predisolone (think i spelt it right?)

My
ventolin
relived also seemed to stop helping when I was struggling a little. The gp has referred me to the hospital however it will take a while to be seen It seems to take lots of
ventolin
just to get rid of a little wheeze.
