Xolair Trial
I'm on symbicort, singulair,
theophylline
, ventolin & atrovent and feel my asthma is fairly well controlled. I'm having a bit of a dilemmia as although I meet the study criteria i suspect i wont be able to recieve the drug after the trial ends- my asthma isn't bad enough.

Short Hospital Stay - NOT
Back for bloods tomorrow to check
theophylline
level is ok as antibiotics increased my blood levels. Peak flow still slowly coming up. Still on 50mg Pred. Got some Quinine Sulphate today for the funky chicken caused by all the asthma meds.

Lemons and Asthma???
Whilst sat in hospital (again) yesterday a nurse told me that she had managed to get control of her asthma (and is now off
theophylline
) by eating two lemons a day cutting out coffee/tea and only drinking hot water and lemon.

Resp Cons.
In addition to salbutamol I am on Atrovent, seretide 250, 20-30 mg Prednisolone (maintenance),
Theophylline
, montelukast and various allergy medications. I have had several A&E trips and I am frequently in the treatment room at my GP surgery using the nebuliser.
