Chest tightness and shortness of breath with normal x-ray and CT Scan
He put me on
symbicort
for a couple of weeks, which elevated my peak flow readings to 620/630, but I was still getting shortness of breath and chest tightness, including in the middle of the night.

Symbicort and Oxis inhalers
Does anyone else find that they get discomfort in their bladder from using either of these inhalers? Both contain Formeterol. I get a burning sensation when I need to go to the toilet, which goes away if I don't use the inhaler. It works well to open up my lungs , but this discomfort is getting me down

Recent 1st severe Asthma attack.
I take
Symbicort
turbohale and reliever but am unsure whether it is safe to take more than usual whilst my lungs are recovering. I am still on steroids and various preventative medicine. Many thanks to anyone with advice.

Not used an inhaler and my asthma has improved? Confused!
The first few days when I tried to stagger what I had left were difficult, but I've fund I'm better now than when I was using my inhaler (
Symbicort
). I'm not that active at the moment, other than a few hours of pilates a day, so maybe that helps.

Still Welcome?
He did say that the treatment was pretty much the same (I take
Symbicort
/Spiriva/Phylocontin and sometimes Pred) and as far as most people are concerned it IS asthma (he said he needed to label my condition as asthma so I get the right treatment).

Hi everyone, just a quick query.
I am on
Symbicort
400/12 inhaler aswell as Aclidinium bromide inhaler. I have started getting a lot of congestion in a morning that I find very hard to remove, sometimes I get the horrible feeling of suffocating which is beginning to panic me to say the least.

Good/normal peak flow but feel short of breath?
My asthma is generally well controlled with
Symbicort
200/6, which I take 2 doses in the morning, 1 at night.

Hi all, this is my first post. Would be great to get some feedback. I have been diagnosed with moderate-to-severe asthma. I am a 33 y.o male
My FEV1 in absolute terms sits at around 2.65L (I am on
Symbicort
2 puffs twice a day), and my mathematics tells me that if I lose 20-30mL each year with age (which I believe is accurate) then I am going to be in trouble in the years ahead, even if I do feel relatively OK currently.

Advice regarding symptom
All, I have been diagnosed as having allergy related asthma and prescribed the following medication:
Symbicort
Turbohaler - a single puff to be taken twice a day during peak hayfever season and as needed if symptoms persist; Fexofenadine Hydrochloride 180mg - a single tablet to be taken am and PM

Permanently low peak flow, nothing helps!
I take
Symbicort
, and always carry my Ventolin, but why can these drugs not improve my peak flow? Should I be worried? Is there anything else I can do? I would be very grateful for any advice.

First post! Exercise and pain
Obviously, this makes continuing to exercise difficult, and as often as not, even after I've taken a dose of
symbicort
I still have to stop.
