Persistant Asthma Symptoms
I have been prescribed steroids and two lots of antibiotics, have been told to increase my
seretide
inhaler from 2 puffs per time to 4 puffs per time. I am still suffering, but, my peak flow has increased a bit. It has gone from 340 up to 420/430.

Pharmacists/Fosamax
I've noticed quite a few of the questions which people raise on this site (e.g. recent ones about Fosamax and
Seretide
/Ventolin) could perhaps better be raised with a pharmacist. Just wondering why other people don't use their local pharmacy more for advice?

Red sores in corner of mouth
I have just changed my
seretide
125 to a
seretide
250 accuhaler. I have been troubled by sores in the corner of my mouth which just don't seem to heal. They are red, sometimes split and sometimes get crusty.

Symbicort & Seretide/Advair
My friends in the states recommend I ask about Advair (
seretide
)- Is it worth switching to see if the different drugs work any better?

Seretide and cramps
I take 3 puffs
seretide
(250) twice daily and have cramps in my feet and legs especially at night. Someone has told me that it's because of the
seretide
. Is this true?

Newbie Advice please
Finally, my GP prescribed 16 puffs of Qvar 50 and 2 of
Seretide
50 daily. It has worked amazingly. What I'm confused about is that he expressed doubts that it was asthma. He sent me for a chest xray and I shall have a breathing test next week. I asked him what else it could be.

Inhalers not working
My question is - is it possible for someone to resistant to Inhaled Steroids, because nothing seems to really help especially at night she is so tired during the day and life is a struggle, I too use
Seretide
for my Asthma but seems to control it ok - I welcome any advice offered.

Nebuiliser reduction
I am also on
Seretide
500 and singulair, was on prednisolone and theophyille but they have taken me off these now well they gradually reduced me off them. It just seems odd to me that they get me off the tablets but leave me on the nebules, i would have thought it would have been other way round.

Does anyone else take amitriptyline and Symbicort together?
I have been using a 10mg dose to help me sleep for a while and am also on Symbicort recently changed from
Seretide
. I asked a pharmacist and he said not to worry. I don't want to bug my GP but I'm taking pred as well at the moment and can't possibly believe than none of them interact.

Oral Steroids and weight gain...
My asthma's been fairly well controlled (not taken more than 125 of
seretide
and occasional salbutamol) since childhood, but this year it's been a nightmare, and for the first time I've been prescribed a 5day course of 20mg prednisolone. The problem is that I am terrified of weight gain.
