Hi, I'm new to all this . . . .
Now I take nine pills a day, a
Seretide
inhaler twice a day, a Nasonex spray once a day and, since my last hospital admission, I'm also on Azithromycin (250 mgs) twice a week. I try to remember to do my breathing exercises three times a day and to take a 30 min walk, as/when the weather allows.

Seretide and bruising easily
I have been taking
Seretide
250 for about 7 years with no complications. But for the last year or so I have been bruising really easily, especially on my legs. Something that would have once caused a temporary red mark now causes a dark blue bruise which takes 2 weeks to go.

GP restrictions on inhalers
The receptionist passed on the message from a doctor saying that they had received new ""guidelines"" that only mixed inhalers containing fluticasone and salmeterol were allowed (
Seretide
).

Seretide & sore throats!
Basically I was wondering if anyone else has had this with
Seretide
or is this unrelated?! I'm taking the
seretide
in a spacer as I find the Evohalers too difficult to take without (hence the switch to symbicort in the first place!).

New to asthma and the boards and would like to know, is anyone else rattling?!
Especially at the moment - the increased pollen count means I'm on antihistamines and decongestants as well as
Seretide
, Ventalin and other fun things. (I also have familial hypercholesterolaemia so take a statin). Honestly, if I jump up and down I rattle...

Help or advice please
I continue to take
Seretide
. My doctors surgery are covinced there is no serious lung disease and are not keen on referring me to a chest physician but I am getting very scared now. Has anyone have any idea what this may be or what I should do next.

Possible next steps?
I'm currently on 2 puffs
seretide
250 twice a day, fexofenadine and nasonex. Tried singulair last year and it didn't work. Have had a few courses of prednisolone and antibiotics over the last year.

Seretide success?
I put it down to the
Seretide
that he has had for 6 weeks as I can't think of any other explanation. He has two puffs twice a day.

Singulair / Aminophylline side effects
GP says I can stop them in a few days and hopefully just
seretide
will keep my lungs going. I hope I never have to take them again but I know that's wishful thinking......

Steroid Therapy
The relative seems very vague about continuing her normal dosage of
Seretide
and whether or not she can continue using her reliever Bricanyl. The lady is very reluctant to seek clarification from her doctor.

No energy
Now taking
seretide
, steroids, singulair, amenophilline and antibiotics with a plan to reduce meds over the next few weeks. 2 days later I'm still in bed struggling to cope with day to day activities and just feel so tired. Feeling worried as I thought I'd be up to doing more.

Need a rant to people who understand!
I've tried various inhalers the most effective being
seretide
. I'm also taking qvar, spiriva, singulair, theophylline, and god knows how much ventolin! I'd never had a hospital admission for my asthma until november last year, just had the odd neb until that point.
