What to do when your child's asthma IS under control for once?!!
I thought the point of taking things like
Seretide
was to keep asthma under control so surely if he stops having it the risk of him going back to his old pattern of regular attack will recur?

Problems with child not sleeping, query medication to blame???
He has now been taking
Seretide
for several months and gradually the sleep disturbance pattern has resurfaced. I am sure it is no coincidence and just wondered if anyone has had this kind of problem with their child on
Seretide
?

Fed up and things dont seem to be getting much better...
Its so frustrating he only 2yrs 10mths and is on
Seretide
125, Nedocromil, flixonase, Montelukast and Ventolin. Yet still he seems to be getting wheezy. You would think with all that medication his breathing would be more under control.

Very confused
Well, she told me to up my
Seretide
to 4 puffs a day, continue taking my ventolin and gave me some pred (which hasn't helped). She told me to come back if I feel like I need to. I left feeling very worried and scared. Am I making a fuss over nothing?

Happy new year!! Confused newbie here...
Then I was still wheezy, so after another week of nighttime waking my GP gave me QVAR50, but that wasn't enough so he upped it to
seretide
125, then 250, 2 puffs twice a day.

New to forum and confused over what to do with my little man !
We went to the doctors last night and he couldn't say whether he thought these periods of coughing were an exacerbation of asthma symptoms or just a cough but went on to prescribe
seretide
saying that he wasn't bothered that he wasn't 5 yet as he is almost there!

Keeping one's mood up
In addition to Singular, antihistamine, and a steroid nasal spray, I'm currently on 1000/day
Seretide
, plus oral steroids which are gradually being tapered down (5mg/5days) starting from 40mg/day for a week.

Fed up
again playing up badly and I am having 'attacks' at least 5 times per day (where I have to use my reliever and often at least 5 puffs each time) and because of being breathless, I have been having problems using the Symbicort because of not having the breath in me to breathe it in so I am now back on

Oral salbutamol
(
Seretide
, ventolin, montelukast, prednisolone, certirizine, risedronate and uniphyllin ) and they have now decided to give me oral salbutamol 8mg twice daily. But I can't seem to find much info on it, so I was wondering if anyone here is on it or knows anything about it? Can it be used long term?
