Do you worry about side effects?
My asthma is really much more well controlled on symbicort than I was on
seretide
- and I don't want to change it but at the same time, it sounds like it can cause problems with breast feeding etc. I know asthma drugs are amazing and give people (including me) a new lease of life.

GP changed meds without telling me
I know the steroid is the same in both the
Seretide
and the Flutiform, but the LABA is different, so I think it's a bit strange to change it without saying anything. Hopefully it will be better for me, but if it doesn't work as well then I shall certainly be going back to change back to
Seretide

Symbicort to Seretide
Switched me from Symbicort 200/6 to
Seretide
250. She said I should not be displaying these symptoms at this early stage - FEV1 73%. Had 2 chest x rays which are clear. Blood tests clear. No sign of chest infection. Still awaiting appointment with Consultant which she is going to chase up.

Seretide 125 for a 4 year old?
my son who is nearly 4 has pretty bad asthma and has been on
seretide
50 for about 12 months (2 puffs twice a day) He has now been changed by the consultant to
seretide
125 two puffs twice a day which seems a very high dose. Anyone else have experience of a young child on such a dose?

where has it gone??
For the last few months, almost as if someone had flicked a switch, my symptoms have disappeared, in two months I've used ventolin twice and have reduced to 1 puff once a day of the
seretide
.

Asthma and Asthma consulant
I said that I find it easier to take my
seretide
250 through a spacer as it is less effort to inhale. So he has changed me from symbicot back to
seretide
250. I am also taking phyocontin, salbutamol, monkaluast, and pred when required.

some information that will help copd people
Preventers are the most important
seretide
, Spiriva etc and anyone with asthma or emphysema should be taking preventers if your not change doctors because they don't know what there talking about.

Change of Inhalers
Hi, I'm changing inhalers from Symbicort to
Seretide
, is it safe to do so straight away as the two inhalers use two different drug combinations. Thanks

My lung problems and I'm wondering if anyone else has had the operation I had in 2006
Anyway, my breathing has steadily got worse and I've been told I have COPD due to 'scar tissue' - my lung function is not good, my last FEV1 was 45% and I use
Seretide
250 plus Ventolin as and when.

Just been told I have emphysema.
GP has given me
Seretide
inhaler to use twice a day, the Salbutamol is 2 puffs when I need it, and it really does help. My mum had COPD, and she ended up with heart failure also, and was on oxygen 24/7, so I am anxious to do all I can to make sure this doesn't get worse.
