I am about to take capecitabine (Xeloda) and because of a mutation also about to take Neratinib (
nerlynx
). They really talk about nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Bad enough that I have to go in and make sure I’m not malnourished which is making me apprehensive about taking this medicine.

HER2+ - Post treatments
However, I've been hearing that some ladies are given post treatment medication as a preventive measure such as
Nerlynx
. Does anyone have advise on post treatment/preventive steps. Are there certain questions I should be asking?

Anyone been prescribed Neratinib (Nerlynx)?
Hello ladies! I'm new here and have triple positive breast cancer. I've done chemo, surgery and radiation. Now that my Herceptin is finished my doctor wants me to take Neratinib for a year, but I just can't get past the diarrhea side effect! I'm not sure I can be tied to my bathroom for a whole year!
