Hunts Community Cancer Network welcomes you to this site which is designed to support people recovering from, living with or experiencing the late effects of treatment for all types of cancer. The site is managed by the HCCN nursing team who work out of Hinchingbrooke Hospital along with volunteer patients all of whom understand the challenges that can face people as they come to terms with their condition. We are supported by specialists in exercise, healthy eating, work related problems, and emotional well being who are keen to supplement the all important support people can give each other. This community, Cancer Thrivers along with our non-profit Cancer ABCs (www.CancerABCs.org) facilitates tangible improvements in the lives of people who have been affected by cancer(s) by providing them and their loved ones the necessary tools, education, support, and advocacy so that they can become responsible for and take an active role in their own medical care, wellbeing, and their life. Our goal is to teach and support people diagnosed with cancer, including those with multiple and rare cancers, to not just be a cancer survivor, but to become a CANCER THRIVER.
