Erdosteine

Good morning, has anyone had any experience with a drug called ERDOSTEINE?

Consultant tried her on Erdosteine instead of Carbosteine and gave her Fostair inhaler instead of ventolin(?) She had a really good run over the summer ( not literally) and was able to dead head flowers, drink gin in the sun and had some energy.

My hubby has severe copd and has been in hospital with chest infection but his breathlessness is made worse when he starts to panic,the hospital has put him on 1mg of lorazepam to take when he needs to ,has this been any help to other sufferers,he has also started a course of Erdosteine which he takes

She did say I could up my pred to 60mg and start a course of Erdosteine and continue nebs 4x daily. So after another week of getting worse and worse I get a telephone appointment with a decent doctor who wants to admit me as I'm so breathless.
