PCOS and hirsutism

I been suffers from hirsutism for about 10 years and last year I decide to good to my GP to know the reason of it I did blood tests and scans and about 2 month ago I was diagnosed with PCOS the doctor gave me Metformin and Eflornithine I been using for 6 weeks.
