Would you be willing to take part in Lupus Research?

Yes absolutely!

Yes but only research that doesn't involve taking medication. I.e. perhaps just supplying blood samples or answering a questionnaire.

Yes as long as I could take part near where I live.

Whilst I dread the thought of taking yet more medication that may or may not be beneficial to me (Methetrixate 6 month nightmare), I realise as more 'bits' go wrong in this body of mine it is so easy for the Docs involved in diagnosis to hang it with the Lupus tag and shrug and take it no further. I am curious though to find out whether it should be just left with that attitude of resignation. With this in mind I would go the whole hog with volunteering in research. (I apologise for my spelling of the above drug if it is wrong).

I am in the process of putting a booklet together that will show what research we have carried out and what we need volunteers for. I hope it will encourage more donations for our research and also more volunteers to come forward.
