Hi, has anyone had their popliteal cyst aspirated of synovial fluid? If so how was the knee pain afterwards?

Well nobody has replied! After 10 months I have drained my popliteal cyst ( baker's cyst ) every few days or when my knee is stiff. The most I have aspirated in one go is 9.5cc, which when one considers the average amount of synovial fluid in a knee is about 3cc, is quite a lot, even though my knee never looks swollen! The range of movement without pain after is basically the full range. I am able to walk normally and though I am supposed to have a half knee replacement I feel I shall forgo having the operation. The baker's cyst has shrunk quite noticeably recently.
