This Monday, destress by exploring a garden or park near you! It can benefit your mind, body, and soul. Take a stroll through a park on your way to work, enjoy your lunch hour in a garden near your office, or sit on a lawn for an outdoor evening concert or movie.

Use this Monday to take a break from the pressure and pace of a busy day and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of being surrounded by greenery. It can improve your mood, and even help put things in perspective. Studies reveal spending time in nature can actually lower cortisol, a stress hormone, and have a positive effect on blood pressure, heart rate, and muscle tension.

This Monday, and throughout the week, destress and find happiness under the shade of a tree or rambling through a garden. We’d love to see where you decided to destress this Monday.
