There’s nothing healthy about a glow!

‼ Let's debunk that age-old myth of having a ‘healthy glow’ ‼

Turning any kind of pink or red due to UV exposure is a sign of sunburn and skin damage. When our skin starts to burn it is our body’s natural reaction to over-exposure to UV radiation.

The superficial layers of the skin release chemicals, causing our blood vessels to expand and leak fluid - causing swelling. It’s this swelling that plumps our skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, making us appear more youthful and look 'healthier' - albeit for a short time.

The pinky, reddish colouration caused by the skin’s adverse reaction also serves as a natural rouge, but be warned...

Behind the scenes, that UV radiation is penetrating deep into the layers of the skin, causing cumulative and irreparable damage to the skin cells and is the primary cause of the UK’s most common and fastest rising cancer!

There really is NOTHING healthy about that ‘glow’.
