Skin cancer is the ‘Skinderella’ of all cancers. It’s a lifestyle cancer that’s hugely overlooked by government considering it’s the UK’s most common and fastest rising cancer, yet 90% of cases are preventable AND if detected, diagnosed and treated early 98% treatable or curable!

This post shows the lead image from a hard-hitting campaign, designed by Skcin to encourage people and government to take skin cancer seriously and ‘Get with the programme’ when it comes to prevention and early detection.

Skcin are the UK’s leading supplier of digital and printed awareness resources and have developed and operate 5 national accreditation programmes that are making impact nationwide as they continue to fill the mammoth void that has long-existed in the awareness arena - doing the job that government should.

Skcin work to not only save lives and unnecessary suffering from this devastating disease through educational intervention, but to relieve the significant burden it places on the NHS - estimated to cost in excess of £500 million annually.

It really is time to take skin cancer SERIOUSLY!
