Dealing with poor test Technician skill?

I have open angle glaucoma severe stage in both eyes; well managed, stable. Love my ophthalmologist. Still drive, diy projects…

If I’m very uncomfortable with the technician conduct/skill during a field of vision test what do you suggest? Of course, I will politely stop the test and request a more senior technician. But if I’m uncomfortable with their skill too then what? See below for why I’m concerned.

During a field of vision test I noted what I believe was poor conduct of the test itself. Very familiar with this test and medical procedure in general. The test, led my Dr to mention medication with a significant health risk to me because of an unrelated condition.

Results of that test were significantly inconsistent with previous tests and the subsequent test conducted by the senior/managing tech at my request . Will request that tech every time but they are not always available. Test execution by the senior tech seemed significantly more skilled than any other tech I’ve seem there.

For some unknown reason, my doctors will not reply to my question or discuss the possibility the test was botched.
