Hello I am new on this forum, I have recently been certified and registered as being sight impaired!

Oh bless you, you have def come to the right place the Macular society is a great place for information. And support. May I ask your condition? I have diabetic eye disease myself and am also registered sight impaired. It took a bit of a while to adjust to but I have found I am comfortable with how things are.

The Eye Clinic Liaison Officer who rang to confirm registration and go though some details said the Consultant had ticked a box about Stroke on my certification form! I this was picked up after they did some electrodiagnostic tests though, but still that was news to me too.

You can have an eye stroke.

Oh also have Charles Bonnet Syndrome (that gets freaky)
