You can use painkillers when it starts. I know it will be great to stop a crisis from happening to make life more predictable and stable. You can take steps to know what sets off your crisis. For me eating red meat, too much food at once, too cold or too hot, exhaustion, infections, lack of rest and starchy foods can give me a crisis.
