While endometrial cancer is the most common type of uterine cancer, not all cancers are the same and there are less common endometrial subtypes (uterine serous carcinoma, carcinosarcoma) and other uterine cancers such as sarcomas that can occur. These rarer cancers can be more aggressive and harder to treat.
