Hi Qi-gong,

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help.

Can you provide more information regarding your diagnosis and what kind of assistance you are looking for?

Thanks, Kathy for your reply.

As mentioned I have stage 4 serous endometrial cancer that has spread to the omentum.

I underwent Radical surgery which involved removal of affected omentum.

Started on chemotherapy (Carboplatin and Taxol) and had severe delayed allergic reaction with rashes requiring hospital admission for IV hydrocortisone

I have embarked on a self help program, optimising my diet with cancer fighting foods, daily exercises and walks 5-8km, relaxation exercises etc

Wonder what sort of endometrial cancer you had and what you felt had helped you significantly in your healing.

Hi,

I was diagnosed with stage 1A high grade serous type endometrial cancer in 2015. I had a hysterectomy and removal of tubes and ovaries, followed by chemo (Carbo/Taxol) and radiation.

Diet is important for me as well, and I also began to practice yoga, which has been beneficial to both mind and body. In addition, I try to walk as much as possible.

I would like to offer you some additional assistance through the SHARE Uterine helpline. The helpline is staffed by volunteers who have also experienced uterine cancer and provide support to other women dealing with this diagnosis. We also provide support groups.

You can call the helpline at (844) 582-6005 for more information. The hours are 10AM - 9PM. I am on the helpline again on Wednesday, 10/14 from 10AM - 4PM.

Hope this information has been helpful.
