I have neuropathy in my feet which makes them feel cold all the time. I’ve tried topical creams that are not working. I’m thinking of purchasing the warmest slipper socks I can find. Any recommendations for warm slipper socks to wear around the house or any other suggestions?

Neuropathy in feet
I've found that wool blend socks work best for me. Are you taking any medication for the neuropathy?
This can last years, so just plan on being extra good to your feet from now on. Acupuncture can help. And/or massage your feet often, pressing hard around the toes. A friend of mine got relief from alpha lipoic acid capsules, but that did not work for me. Some people take gabapentin for neuropathy but I honestly don't know if that would help with the cold sensation; I think that's more for pain. Everything you do for general health (exercise, good nutrition, good hydration) will also help.
The balls of my feet are still numb after 3 years. Meds did not help me. I can’t wear the same kind of shoes I used to wear. Pretty much stick with Merrill slides for the wide toe box. I only wear Smartwool socks. I figure that as long as I’m here to complain about my numb feet and sore hips, I’ll take that. Good luck to you.
I have found that wearing tight socks of any kind help...it seems like the compression is key. Good luck to you !
Liked others I've had the neuropathy for years. What works the best for me is acupuncture and massage. It's worth it investing in a good leg foot massager. Hang in there.
Neuropathy is a beast. For what it's worth, you might look at OrthoSleeve WC2 socks (light compression ankle socks, easy to put on, keep my feet reasonably happy and warm). They are pricey, $11 US per pair, but I've been pleased with them. Bought them on Amazon. Machine wash then air dry. I do also take alpha lipid acid and gabapentin, which seem to help and which I tolerate well. Hope you find things that work for you! Deb in Colorado
