Today is my delayed PET Scan - late by a month because of flu and secondary infections. Still coughing and congested, but I've been off meds for a month trying to get over this bug and I'm anxious to see if the meds did anything. My Oncologist can't see me for another week to give me the results - just found out he's only working 3 days a week now! (Head shaking). Geez.

Oh geez! I'm glad you were finally able to get your scan! Why do they make us wait so long for results?

I really think they don’t realise the agony we go through having to wait for results

Hope you will feel better-I got bronchitis for a month when I first started the meds. Hang in there!!! I wish you the best.

Ended up back in the ER Saturday for a breathing treatment, steroid in my IV and oral steroid! My wheezing in the left lung was pronounced, but no pneumonia! Just still battling bronchitis. Sent home with an inhaler and more oral steriod are finally helping (and has me hyper and short tempered (per my husband).

I hope they gave you antibiotics . They never gave me a steroid but I coughed so hard my stomach was very sore that I couldn’t cough without crying. Hang in there and I hope your results from the tests are good.. We are alive....❤️

Waiting for scan results is no fun. For a positive result a simple phone call even by an assistant would aleiviate some unnecessary stress. I pray that you have all positive results and that you feel better soonest.
