Sharing Stories of Social Support Among Breast Cancer Survivors and Patients

Hello everyone, I am very interested in learning more about how to help patients and survivors of breast cancer. My mother had cancer and I lost my spouse to cancer, and have many friends who are recent survivors of breast cancer or are having treatment now, including for the very tough triple negative diagnosis. I am a health communication researcher requesting your help for a project to collect breast cancer patients’ and survivors’ stories of social support. The American Cancer Society's Cancer Survivors Network is not sponsoring this research, but has reviewed my request and credentials and kindly allowed me to post my survey on the ACS's Cancer Survivors Network research announcements site. The administrator of that department also suggested I post my request here and on two other online support sites sponsored by the same organization. The link to the full explanation of the study, which includes the link to very short open-ended survey (totally anonymous) is:

csn.cancer.org/announcements

You may have to cut and paste this URL to your browser if the link is not live here. Thank you so much for considering this request. All my positive thoughts to everyone. Please do not bother, of course, if you are unable to spend the time and energy for this. I understand fully. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Rose
