Ingrown Toenail due to Tagrisso - preventative care?

Hi Community: My father has been on Tagrisso for nearly a year now. And he's experienced dermatologic toxicity such as pimples and fissures on his finger tips. Lately though, he's had two ingrown toenails which he's never had before. He's going back to the podiatrist for tx. Seeking advice and suggestions on what he can do to prevent these issues. Has anyone used tea tree oil?

With gratitude, 🌺🙏

I don't have direct experience using tea tree oil. Since Tagrisso can cause red, sore cuticles that look like ingrown toenails, it's important that your father's oncologist knows about the condition of his toenails and that the podiatrist is aware of Tagrisso's effects when deciding on a treatment. Here is an article that has some suggestions on how to prevent and manage the condition. cancer.org/treatment/treatm... I hope it's helpful!
