I find living in Northern Ireland that I am extremely cut off from certainly other parts of the UK! Certainly abbreviations do not help, and obscure USA medications leave me in the cold, medical treatments are lost, as MOST people on this site are not aware of 'new' medication and "break throughs" a bit of simplicity and understanding on these matters would go a long way throughout the whole world!
The contact with others which is more or less immediately available and so vital to people like me who live alone.
As with all surveys, the survey does not cover the topics that I would like to comment on. It's like being in a church that isn't my choice of religion and being asked what I'd like in the sermon. Nothing from that religion, so there is no applicable answer. All surveys are biased by the minds of those who put them together.
I'll just add that the bias of this site and almost all others is that doctors are the ultimate authority that you should pay homage to. Their knowledge, some of them, may be valuable but the vast majority are simply indoctrinated with allopathy which has few answers, just patches for holes in the structure instead of how to fix the structure so that there are no holes to be patched. Drugs are patented, and a substance cannot be patented unless it is NOT a natural substance, so by consulting a doctor you are automatically agreeing to be treated with unnatural substances. It makes zero sense.
I agree. It’s the fact that there are no ‘free format’ fields for you to offer a different view, isn’t it? In the old days (!) before computers, you could write things in, now you’re (as you say) restricted to certain prescribed choices. I would appreciate an opportunity to add my own opinion, as I find I am rarely in step with the majority!
I am so glad i have joined this group it is so helpful i give it 100% .
Needs to be more health unlocked websites that cover different areas eg. Canada, USA, etc. Me commenting on therapies and medication that work for me because I'm living in Canada may not work for people in other areas because they can not access the same therapies or medications.
I see what you mean, but it’s also helpful to know what’s out there in case we need to try and get something available in another country.
I have had chronic pain for 18 yrs have tried so many therapies. The therapy that I have been doing for the past few months which has helped is matrix repatterning which uses magnetics then manipulation by a professional.its has been amazing for me. Give it a try if it's in your area.
Thanks. I’ll look into that.
Included in the personal stories I love the book club . Loads of recommendations and not everyone loves what they are reading so it’s more honest. I am an avid reader but this forum is so inclusive and you don’t have to post each time .
