How often do you speak with your pharmacist about a newly prescribed medication(s)?

I've never done that. Maybe I'll start speaking with them about that.

Never but then I'm a nurse so I understand medication myself

I’m a nurse too and I read the inserts that come with all meds.. but I would ask a pharmacist if I didn’t understand something..:)

Yeah if i didn't understand something i would ask and would feel comfortable doing so.

Pharmacists know far more about the drugs than doctors seem to. A doctor at our surgery only prescribed the lowest dose of Bisoprolol for me to be taken daily after I had pointed out that I was very sensitive to drugs and did not arrange a follow up appointment but the pharmacist took my phone number so he could check on me after a week. I popped in to see him after three days as I was feeling very tired- he took my pulse and told me to stop taking it and a different doc agreed. I always read the info in the packs which is very informative. We are all different and apologies if you have seen my experience before!
