As I reach completion of year 3 De-Novo Stage 4, Gleason 9 crpc. I wonder what is the longest one has survived under the same circumstances

I've just passed year 7 starting at 49 y.o. with a very poor prognosis. This is despite my consistently shifting landscape of treatments - i.e., nothing has "stuck" for me and, several times, scans have revealed radiographic progression over time needing aggressive (meaning more than ADT + second line hormonal) treatment.
These aggressive treatments are now an accepted part of my life, and I have a pretty good QoL because of that acceptance. So recently learning that I have 3 months off from the plan for radiation treatment to C2 (the lesion may be stable/slow growing and I will rescan in January) makes me ecstatic.
I think in football analogies a lot - especially defensive football. I've finally learned to (mostly) ignore "in-game" statistics and try not to overcoach myself. I figure my job at any given moment is to stop the advance of my cancer when I'm supposed to be out there treating it. In the meantime, I try to live my life and keep in shape and as loose as I can.
From your bio, your core treatment seems to still ADT + second line hormonal. Your PSA is a bit high, but ALP is stable, and you make no mention of radiographic progression.
Keeping with football: Right now, your game seems to be pretty good on a base defense. Keep on turning over those stones, brother! Good luck. - Joe M.
