Hiya

How's everyone feeling? Good I hope. Just been thinking about my babies and I got all exited :) haha I'm fifteen weeks two days so I still have a while to go yet!! I just can't wait to meet them find out what were having and see them grow up. I have been with my husband for nine year and trying for about five years, it's been a long road but worth the wait. I'm starting to feel my tummy tightening now so I'm guessing we're gonna start growing pretty quickly now :) its funny cos I can't wait till I'm massive and can feel them squirming about more often and four feet popping out in all directions. So are there any people that have had a long road to getting pregnant? What are your experiences?I was actually waiting for ivf and it IS ACTUALLY true that when you least expect it - it will happen and that is exactly what happened to me. :) xxx

Kazza first of all CONGRATULATIONS, that's amazing news for you. I bet you're excited, I would be too. I'm 38 & not been trying that long & I think like you say, I kind of just stopped worrying about it & it happened. I'm only 9 weeks & can't wait for the first scan, I would absolutely love to be in your position with twins & i've just got a sneaky suspicion it might be, no idea why, just it would be about right for that to happen to me! lol!

So glad to hear your story, must be an amazing feeling to be going through right now. All the very best for you all :) x

Thankyou very much!!! Congratulations to you too!!! Its difficult not to think about it as I believe you get consumed in it so much that you can't get it off your mind, especially having a previous miscarriage - but we came to a point where we thought well were going to have help in a couple of months with the IVF lets just try and enjoy christmas etc etc. Then it just happened what a lovely shock!

Well they do say when you are over 35 you have a higher chance of having multiples though! Do you have any twins in the family already? that would make it an even bigger chance :). Had I not have had some early scans I dont think I would have had a clue, the only noticable difference I thought of was the intense hunger and nausea but no sickness which was great but weird! Wont be long till you get your scan and find out!!

Take care of yourself and your bean/ beans haha xxxx

Oh dear god the intense hunger is like something else, maybe there are 2 little grapes in there right now! I've had nausea for sure, but thankfully no sickness. It always lasts in the mornings up till 1.45pm too which is very odd and also very precise I know!!!

I think maybe somewhere down the line there maybe twins in the family, but not 100% sure. I know that my age may play a part in it. This is the first time in my life I've ever even been pregnant, so it's a little odd having absolutely no idea what to expect. Although I swear to god if anyone so much as even looks at my boobs at the moment I'm going to knock them out! hahah!

I'm hoping to hear from the hospital this week with my scan date, fingers crossed it'll be soon :)

Take good care of you & you're little uns :) xx
