Movement

Hi, I am now 17 weeks pregnant and I think I am starting to feel some movement, just little shooting movements. I have bought a doppler and can hear the heart beat but can also hear all sorts of other noises in there, could this be the baby moving around? x

Hi.i've got a doppler as well and i can hear babys heart.when i was in hospital the midwife talked to me about the noises.obviously the fast galloping noise is babys heart,then slower is your own heartbeat,but there is always a noise that sounds like a sea -thats placenta.i hope I've been little bit helpful xx

If its like a screaching noise then yes its the baby moving about! When I heard mine for the first time I was like wtf? But the midwife explained everything! It can sound like someone blowing into a microphone!

I ave a doppler, its brilliant. The fastest heart beat is the babies, if you put your finger on your neck pulse then listen into the doppler you can recognise your own.

When my little man moves it sounds like static, just like wendywoo said, also I can sometimes hear bubbles and fluid as he is moving
