Someone help?

I was on the depo for 5 years I came off in may this year &had my first period in november, I had a test last week and It came back negative I'm now 2days late, would it of been to early to tell or not? I've got sore boobs but don't know what to do, could it be that they haven't regulated?

Hi bubble12 if you're not sure test again, if you tested to early it might not have shown up. If you get a negative it might just be what you have suggested, it might be worth asking your Gp as to how long it takes for this to work its way out of your system, I really don't know anything about depo but I have tested to early before and had to leave it a day or two, only to be pleasantly surprised. Hiya, I was on the depo and came off it around the same time as you, I was nearly two weeks late for my period even though I had been getting it regular before so I went to my doctor and she said it could take up to a year for the depo to get out my system! But then again everyone is different. I guess its just a waiting game now :/. Good luck x

The depo does usually mess your reproductive system up for atleast 1-2yrs.. I only had one injection in july 2010 and because of that one injection I didn't ovulate again untill feb this year but only because the fertility put me on tablets to sorta it out.. It did something to my insulin levels .. But I finally started ovulating by my. Self after 2yrs and nw I'm 18weeks with my lil miracle

Okay, well I don't know what todo I've had small bellyache and my boobs are very sore&sensitive, they are a little hardtoo. I'm just gna wait afew more days and take a test for my own piece of mind. Its very stressful lol. Hope mine periods get back to normall as I'd love a little baba thanks everyone x
