My 4 week DD takes a long time to feed (bottlefeed), and has lots of wind (both ends) lol, whats the best position to feed them ?

Hi Batfink,
For bottle-fed babies, ‘winding’ or helping your baby to bring up any air she takes in with the milk may help. Try an upright position for feeding and ensure that the bottle teat hole is the right size for your baby so that the milk doesn’t flow too rapidly.

If you try these things and your DD is still feeling too windy, you can ring our helpline on 0300 330 0700 to speak to an NCT breastfeeding counsellor (she is trained to support with bottle feeding too :))
