Polyhydraminos & water birth

Hi,

I am 36 weeks and 6 days pregnant. I have polyhydraminos & my antenatal clinic on Monday to discuss birthing options, if he does not decide to arrive sooner! I'm not dead set on anything but would quite like access to a birthing pool.

I've had a couple of recent experiences with stand in midwives at appointments that have just made me want to be as clued up as possible on my actual options and not just being told something because its more convenient for them. Has anyone had any issues with polyhydraminos and access to a birthing pool? I know they may need to monitor baby more underwater, but have read that this can be done in the birthing pool?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated 😊
