Babies are all so different hun, at 7 months I wouldn’t worry too much but I would start offering more in the way of finger foods along side the purées. Big chunks are best, bananas and avocado are lovely and soft to munch on. Let her explore and make mess and she will get there with textures in her own time xx
I agree with cheeky monkey. My youngest was like this. My eldest would just eat anything and still does, and is definitely not fussy with his food. However, my youngest is different. He didn't like textured food as a baby and he was gone a year old before he would have food that wasn't pureed. I just kept offering him different foods and he got there eventually. Finger foods like banana are good because they're squashy and I used those baby "crisps" that dissolve in the mouth, to introduce new textures. My youngest was definitely more difficult with his food and he still is more fussy than my eldest. He's coming up for 3 now and will eat most things. Getting him to try new foods can still be difficult but we just try not to make a big deal about it and keep offering foods to him again at another time.
That's ok she's only 7 months old , let them have puree until u think she wants more lumps and textures. My baby was the opposite hated puree + mushy type food, but absolutely loved solid food l, so I gave half and half then she could explore both. It's a gradual process and all part only her learning one day suddenly she will take to lumpy stuff
