Which formula milk is best ?

There isn't really a best formula. Aptamil is the most popular brand out there but is made by the same company who produce Cow & Gate.SMA is cheap and cheerful.

What I would say is whatever you choose make sure it's just stage 1 milk and keep using that until baby is 1 years old.

Stage one formula is heavily regulated so they are basically all the same. I would get one that fits your budget.

I was going to say the same as poppy- we use Sainsbury’s own brand as it’s a lot cheaper then aptamil (generally about £4ish per tub) x

I read a good tip: (well I thought so!) whichever formula you decide to use, make sure that your local shop stocks it as you don't want to be driving across town when you've run out

I use Hipp Organic as I read in a lot of baby forums people recommending. They said it was best for colics. I can’t say that this formula was the one which avoided colics but my baby never had them and was happy with Hipp Organic. They are £10.5 per box, so not the cheapest one.
