Secret saviours

Morning I’ve seen a few advertisements for the secret saviours stretch mark kits, the reviews look great but it’s very pricey at £90! I have started using over the counter creams but they haven’t really done much in preventing or reducing the appearance of new stretch marks.

I was just wondering if anyone had used the secret saviours products? And are they worth £90

Thanks x

I keep seeing this too and interested to know if anyone has tried it. I’ve just been using good old bio oil twice a day, so far so good xx

It’s just a lot of money if it doesn’t work, if it does it’s worth every penny 😂 oh perfect il give it a try x

Unfortunately stretch marks can just be one of those things and there is no evidence that any creams or treatments can stop you from getting them so I wouldn’t spend a lot of money on them. If you are finding that your stomach is itchy as the skin begins to stretch, don’t itch it and apply lots of moisturiser, as itching breaks the bonds in the skin making stretch marks more likely. Genetics can also play a part meaning of your mum had them, it’s more likely you will. Also make sure you stay well hydrated as that helps prevent them x

I used it from about 20 weeks and didn’t get any stretch marks. I’m not sure whether it’s just genetics though! I didn’t bother with other creams because nothing you put on the surface of the skin can stop the tearing of the deeper layers but the principle of using the bump band to support the skin to prevent tearing seemed worth a go. The band was also good in the week following birth to support my tummy.

That’s what I was thinking I guess the support from the band would be good anyway, think I will give it a try. The logic of how it works makes sense! Thanks for your reply ☺️ X

Hi

I used it from month 3 onwards during my pregnancy and I had no stretch marks throughout. I would defo recommend it. Pricey yes, but worth it! For me anyway, as I know all our bodies work differently.

I used it from 16 weeks with baby no1 & 12 weeks with baby no2. Currently 29 weeks with no3 @ luckily still no stretch marks. I should say that the bottles are still going strong & are long lasting, so £90 for all three. Maybe wait until Black Friday as I am pretty sure I bought mine on a discount.
