I’m 8 +1 day! I had a scan at 6 +2 days. Everything was all okay and they had no concerns.
Since week 5 up until yesterday, I’ve had horrific nausea all day every day. However I’ve woke up today and it’s just gone. My bloating has gone down a bit as well. I still have tender breasts and a bit gassy.
Is it normal for symptoms to just disappear?
Thanks 😊

Yes, it's very normal as your hormones balance out a bit and the placenta starts to take over the work of nourishing baby. As you start to approach the 2nd trimester it all starts getting a bit easier (for some, not everyone). Fingers crossed you might be starting to come out the other side, but don't be surprised if it comes back, or certain things trigger your nausea.
Thank you! It’s just a shock as I’ve been so poorly the last week and now it’s just gone, was slightly worried. I still sometimes get the odd wave of nausea triggered by a smell just not constant! Fingers crossed the consistent nausea doesn’t come back, as that was hard going 😂
Totally normal! I felt horrendous up to around 8 weeks, then had a few days of feeling better and then it came back with a vengeance at 9 weeks! Enjoy it while it lasts x
Thank you! Was just so surprised it just disappeared like that, as I’ve been so ill. I still get the odd twinge of nausea If there’s a certain smell (such as I can’t use my normal comfort as it just makes my stomach so summersaults 😂). Fingers crossed it consistent nausea has now gone as that was awful and I struggled really bad haha xx
Fingers crossed!! Luckily I’m not in work at the minute as they won’t let me in because I’m pregnant, currently waiting on kit to work from home. So I’ve been at home and ill! Yeah the sense of smell has really thrown me as well 😂 as in the house is always have smellys plugged in or wax melts burning, have had to stop it all haha. And change my washing stuff! I’ve also got a puppy that’s teething and poor thing, I can’t go near him as his smell makes me want to be sick 😂 x
