Extreme heartburn after eating anything. Is this normal in very early pregnancy.

I'm only 6+4 and my heartburn is really bad. Should I be getting it this early? What is safe to take for heartburn please? Thanks for your advice 😘

I know what you mean, but heartburn is so awful if you need something to take care of it, Gaviscon is safe x

I’ve tried gaviscon but with the added nausea I can’t get it in my mouth without heaving 🙈

Found Rennies tablets a bit easier to handle 😂

It’s normal though don’t worry xx

Very normal

Gaviscone super safe to take. In fact in third trimester the heartburn was causing me so much pain it was causing distress to baby so I had no choice. Wish I’d have used it sooner x Definitely v normal to be worried about taking it but now I’m chugging it & it stays in my handbag 😂

If you’re still worried about taking it, ring your local surestart and ask to speak to a midwife or your local community midwives and they’ll be able to reassure you

You can buy peptac from pharmacy for 3.99 for a big bottle, aniseed or mint flavour, I was drinking it from the bottle and had three bottles on the go at the end
