Hi ladies. My little boy was born 2nd August 2019 and I had the usual bleed after which lasted around 5-7 days then had my first period on the 20th September 2019 lasted 4 days which in normal for me. Haven’t had a period since (missed 2) and I’ve had some pregnancy symptoms within the last week or so (sickness, bloating etc). I’ve taken 9 or 10 pregnancy test lol everything from cheap £1 ones to clear blue but all negative. I need help and advice. Has anyone been through this or something similar?

My little boy was born on the same day :-)

I've had exactly the same symptoms, but I haven't had a period yet. All tests have come back negative, the same happened to my mum and sister, it must just be hormones.

Are you breast feeding? If you are then that might explain why you're not having a normal period cycle. My daughter was born on the 2nd August as well, I haven't had a period yet since having her, but from what I have read, if you're breast feeding that's pretty normal.

I’d continue to test every few days your cycles can take time to regulate after birth. I always went back on the pill so periods were regular and I didn’t have to worry about pregnancy.
