Stretch marks
I'm using palmers coco butter for pregnancy. I didn't like the tummy rub but the moisturizer goes on nicely. I do it every evening and sometimes morning as well if I have time. I already had bio oil which some people use but decided not to use it as I heard/read conflicting reviews about if it's ok in pregnancy or not.
100% Pure African Shea Butter is what you need. You can get them from the African hair shops or maybe even on Amazon. It's pure and greasy but it's the real deal. I used palmers coco butter and bio oil for my first pregnancy but was a waste of money and time. This time I lather shea butter on in the morning and night before I go to bed. I wouldn't bother with any "stretch mark lotions" or oils.
I use a combination of things. I use palmers stretch mark lotion at night, burts bees mama bee lemon oil in the morning (so nice) and lush massage therapy moisturising bar mid evening which smells lovely too.
Weleda oil, its delightfully light and absorbs quickly. I've been using it since week 7, now week 14 and my skin is looking tight.
I used palmers Shea butter stretch cream, lovely smell. But unfortunately nothing can stop stretch marks, if you get them you got them. I managed to get to 34 weeks with none, then bang they appeared on my belly. x
