Are bumbo’s any good?

I read they don’t help babies to learn to sit at all however I’ve just picked one up from a charity shop as my little girl can sit unaided most of the time but is still prone to going backwards and was squawking at me yesterday as she wanted to sit and I needed to wash bottles. I guess it depends what you want to use it for 😊 x

I found Bumbo very unuseful as well- made him sit in an awkward angle.

However,

Baby snug brought from Mamas & Papas was usefull to give some snacks - better angle and more comfortable.x

Agree with this. It comes with a moulded insert part that seems to encourage a much better hip position than a bumbo.

Obviously not great to spend long periods in them regardless but my little boy loved his from about 3-4months old. Gave him a bit of a change from being on his play mat. x

Same here , made him sit at an awkward angle and he leans that far over to one side I’m scared he’s going to fall out , he’s been in it twice since I got it , wouldn’t say they was much use tbh xx
