Help please

My daughter is due to be induced on Wednesday. She has had a blood transfusion this weeks and is due to get vitamin12 injections. She is under the dr as she is 17 and they have thought she was having a baby with Dandy Walker Malformation and the baby has a small cerebellum. The baby is on the line of not having this Dandy Walker. But she is not keeping great she said that she has period pains and has gunk discharge. But her lips are all cracked and chapped. This is a worry she really does not drink and I have advised her as well as the dr but she looks so pale today and I am very worried about her just now.

Hi Hunni, I’m so sorry your daughter is going through this and you as a mother are upset too. Has your daughter been checked for anemia? As she’s pale and sunken eyes and lethargic too. Do you think she may be in slow labour? If you have numbers for the maternity ward you should ring them on her behalf and they will see her straight away as she’s on doctors watch too. I hope she gets sorted xxx

I would assume she has anaemia if she had a blood transfusion

Could the "gunk " discharge be a show/mucus plug? I think it's best to call your delivery ward, get some advice cos she might need to go in to get checked out.

Call delivery ward, she’s probably having a show (cervical mucus plug) and very early labour pains, she needs to be examined and she may need a drip if she’s dehydrated.
