Sickness

I have lost my appetite been one week and I 9 week pregnant. Don't feel like to eat feel so full and if I get get sickness if not then sickness feeling through out the day. Any home remedies that can help. I am waiting for appointment with midwife still got time.

Hi Marim. Some women experience sickness and loss of appetite which is normal. To ease the sickness stay well rested, keep hydrated, eat little and often, digest ginger and keep a sick diary to identify when you feel sick and what foods make you sick.

In regards to eating, just do the best you can. Try to eat foods that have high nutritional value instead of empty calories like sweets and cakes. For example wholemeal rice, wholemeal flour and wholemeal pasta for extra fibre, fruit and veg, foods rich in iron and calcium.
